Assumption University

Assumption University invites applications for the new Toldo Chair in Christian Studies. They welcome applicants trained in any or multiple academic disciplines (theology, history, gender studies, political science, literature, sociology, and more) where the study of Christianity was a central focus. The chair will also be accorded an appropriate professorial rank (assistant professor, associate professor, or professor) at Assumption University.

Job opening: Asst. Professor at St. Mary’s University

Applications are invited for a tenure-track (research- or teaching-stream) position in Religious Studies with a specialization in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. The successful candidate will teach in our Social Justice and Catholic Studies (SJCS) degree program and across our curriculum, including in areas such as Catholic social thought and Catholic philosophy.

Job posting: Professor of Theology and Director at St. Stephen’s College

St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton, Alberta, wishes to appoint a Professor of Theology to establish, oversee, and direct the Centre for Spirituality and Community Wellness, including the development of a Faith and Community Leadership stream within the College’s graduate programming. This is a part-time (0.75 FTE) three-year contract position (with possibility of renewal for an additional two years). The position is available for on-campus or remote work.

Salary Range:  $77,000 – $82,000/year to start
Position type: Five-year, full-time position. In person in Halifax and/or remote. Significant travel within Canada and the United States will be required. Working hours will include evening and weekend work.
