Website content policy
A draft policy to guide the selection of content for the CTS website and email list (listserv).
April 2010
Frequently, organizations such as the CTS will receive requests to post information on our website or distribute information to our membership. If we accepted all of these requests we would overload the website and flood the inboxes of our members. The volume of material would obscure our own mission, discourage visits to our website, and precipitate numerous requests to unsubscribe from the email list.
With this in mind, the CTS executive has discussed and established the following draft policy on posting announcements or other material on the CTS website and email list. All decisions are subject to review by the executive, and will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The policy will be reviewed by the executive as need arises.
