Annual meetings of the Canadian Theological Society

The Canadian Theological Society meets annually at the Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences, formerly known as the Learned Societies’ Conference. Congress is the largest and most diverse academic conference in Canada. It is held each year at the beginning of June. The CTS meets concurrently with the other religion and theology societies during the first week of Congress. The CTS program and abstracts are published on this website, as well as a combined programme for the five societies of the Canadian Corporation for the Study of Religion.

CTS participants are encouraged to become members and to attend the sessions and AGM at Congress each year. To register for Congress, participants should visit the Congress website and complete the registration process. Participants are expected to register for each of the societies that they intend to visit during the annual conference. Fees are specified for each society as well as an overall registration fee for Congress.

The CTS has met annually since its foundation in 1955. If you have any archival material (programmes, papers, AGM minutes, etc…), please send them to < email hidden; JavaScript is required >.
